Recorded crime trends

Crime in Enfield fell by 6.6% (27,058 down to 25,275) in 2007-08 compared to 2006-07. Rates of crime per 1,000 residents continue to be below the Metropolitan Police average in almost all major crime categories with the exception of residential burglary and thefts of motor vehicles.
